MATTARA
Vanessa Mattara was born in Ina-shi, a small Japanese city, where she spent her childhood before moving to Brazil at the age of 9. As an artist with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo, her work focuses on detail and line, exploring themes such as the city, landscape, and small everyday events.
Her work was exhibited at Noah Gallery and Remex Gallery in Shizuoka, Japan; Espaço das Artes, Escola da Cidade, and Museu Catavento in São Paulo. She has collaborated with institutions such as FIESP, Live Union, and Todavia Publishing. Vanessa has also worked as an art assistant on the 'Habitat Graz' exhibition at the Graz Museum alongside artist Andrés Sandoval.
